Lead tree-surgery work across Highland estates, from sectional fells to crown reductions on mature specimen trees.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced tree surgeon to lead climbing work on private estates and woodland across the Highlands. You will run a two-person team, advising clients and carrying out technically sound tree work to BS3998.
Responsibilities
- Carry out climbing and aerial rescue operations to BS3998
- Lead a two-person tree-surgery team on site
- Advise clients on tree health and risk
- Maintain and service chainsaws and rigging equipment
Requirements
- NPTC CS30, CS31 and CS38/39 tickets essential
- Minimum 4 years climbing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Emergency First Aid at Work
